Which media provider did you spent the most time?
I spent the most time with Twitter for approximately 30 hours in a week.

What roles does media play in your lives? (leisure, learning, communication, etc.)
Media plays as my source of information, means of communication, methods of learning, and most especially, place for leisure.



MY OWN DEFINITION

Technology Literacy is the ability to acquire knowledge on technological tools and to have an idea of its utilization.

 Media Literacy is the ability to recognize the role of media in sharing information, ideas, etc.

Information Literacy is the ability to share and acquire information found in media.

Media and Information Literacy is the shared ability of gathering and sharing information as well as the role of media to share the gathered or shared information.

In your opinion, what makes an individual literate in media and information?  
In my opinion, I consider an individual to be literate both in media and information if he or she recognizes that media and information are connected to each other. Without media, we cannot share information nor acquire. Without information, media would lose its purpose as means of sharing information for users like me do. If the individual recognizes this, then he or she would be an effective sharer and acquirer of information like I am.

 What activities/habits do you practice which illustrate media and information literacy? Give at least three examples 
  • Sharing articles, ebooks, links, and other forms of information via Facebook or Twitter
  • Acquiring news in media outlets such as Rappler, CNN, etc.
  • Providing some stored information in the form of blogs
